Internship at Helsinki University

Junior researcher Maria Buntina is training at the Department of Agricultural Sciences Helsinki University from 16.04 till 04.05.2012. Internships are organized at the expenses of the international FORESTSPECs project.
During this period, Maria will take part in carrying out chemical analyzes of soil and compost, as well as in laying out the experiments on the cultivation of herbaceous plants using bark compost. Further experiments will be conducted on the detoxification of soils contaminated with heavy metals. All experiments are provided with the assistance of graduate student Mahmoud F. Seleiman (University of Helsinki).
