Researcher of the Laboratory of Taiga Ecosystems and Biodiversity, Sector of Sylviculture and Forestry

The main directions of research and scientific achievements:
  • One of the leading specialists of the Laboratory of Taiga Forestry. During 30 years she works on the issues connected with forest tapping, forest fire protection, cuttings of the main exploitation and reforestation;
  • Standards of placement of fire-chemical stations and fire observation posts in forest fire areas, Standards of placement of mineralized zones in coniferous forests, Local scales of fire risk for forests of the European North, and System of cuttings of the main exploitation in forests of the European North were elaborated with her direct participation;
  • Certain materials of her work were included in regulatory legal statements of Russian Federation “Regulations of cuttings of the main exploitation in plain forests of the European part of Russian Federation” and “Guidance for organization and technology of cuttings of the main and intermediate exploitation in soft-wood forest with the 2nd layer and understory of coniferous species (for plain forests of the European part of Russia)”;
  • Participation in development work “Methodological justifications and elaboration of silvicultural-economic and economic requirements to organ9ization and conduction of timber harvesting using selective cuttings in changed conditions of forestry relations and environmental conditions”;
  • Participation in development of “Guidance for conduction of cuttings of the main exploitation and technology of felling works using felling machines “Timberjack””;
  • Elaboration of “System of forest management measures providing natural restoration of coniferous species on cutting areas of the European North of Russia and its economic justification”.

Total amount of publications – 30.
Each development work is accompanied with publication.
